Bye- Bye China, says Google

(Google China headquarters in Qinghua Science Park, Beijing)

As talks between Google & China drag into their final stages, it appears that both the company and the government are preparing for the day when Google is simply out of China for good.

Google was "99.9 percent" certain to shut down its Chinese site, google.cn, and end all cooperation with censorship regulations. The company reportedly has already drawn up detailed plans to implement this decision, and while it would like to keep other Web properties such as Google Maps in China, "some executives fear that a backlash from the Chinese authorities could make it almost impossible to keep a presence in the country.

Google China Redirected to Uncensored HK Site

The long running censorship war between Google and the Chinese government has taken an expected turn. Google has stopped censoring results Search, News and Images services on its Google.cn domain. If you try visiting Google.cn, you'll be redirected to Google.com.hk site (with servers located in Hong Kong). The search giant's intention to stop self-censorship on Google.cn and pull out operations from China was reported earlier this month.

Bannerughatta National Park, Bangalore

My trip this Sunday, February 14th 2010, to Bannerghatta National Park, India wasn't really a planned one. 12th (February 2010) to 14th Prakash was in Bangalore & on 14th we went to to Bannerghatta National Park. We did Tiger and Lion Safari. We saw lot of tigers and some lions (A Lion Family). Not a bad trip. Overall was very exciting. The animals were very healthy. Sometimes it resembles more of a zoo than a national park with lot of animals in cages.

(WHITE TIGER IN RESERVED AREA)

The park is around 10 kilometer from Arekere Gate (22 KM from Majestic Bus station, Bangalore) and took around 15 minutes to reach. Well maintained and has also a good zoo. Some other attractions also are there including butterfly park, elephant safari etc (We missed it). Pretty much a good destination for people with kids and also good for those who are nature loving to have a chance to spend some time out from the mechanical world.

Well, Being the starting summer season, I dint expect much of the greenery and so one could see the park was all dry with few small ponds. I could hardly see a bird in there. Few deers, blackbucks, cows, and then the Beer sanctuary, where some were lazying around on the road itself, and some were dancing around with vehicles coming and going, giving all sort of possible responses. Its the lions area after that of beer's if I remember correctly, two of them, with two sitting together, don’t know doing what, but as if they had no connection to the external world.

(MONKEY FAMILY)

Well, a good number of tigers (25 from sources) , in there, and we could have a close look at 'em, again pretty much having a small walk or some sleeping, as usual, I dont know if I was missing, the roars, or some happening around, everything seemed to be pretty much silent, or probably I was missing something I am not sure what.

(BEAR IN RESERVED AREA)

(LOVE BIRDS)

We headed to the zoo area, where we could see, some parrots, ducks, peacocks and white peacocks, This is my second zoo visit after Mysore zoo, Actually I dint really like the cages and the chains around the wild animal.
